Janeen Sonsie, Managing Director, started Marketing Integration in 2000 to deliver sales and marketing consulting and training to the IT industry. Since then she has developed her own portfolio of workshops and Marketing Integration owns the IP for all of the planning systems.

A 25+ year career in IT&T

Janeen has 25+ years experience, primarily in the IT&T industry, covering the breadth of business functions of marketing and sales, channel partner management and customer service – in national and regional management roles. She has specialised in marketing and reseller channel partner management for the last 15 years. Prior to consulting, Janeen held senior sales and marketing management roles for international IT companies such as Computer Associates and StorageTek. In these roles she defined creative sales and marketing strategies while restructuring and building up the business units. She achieved her objective of simplifying “doing business” with the reseller channel partners, which significantly improved partner relationships and loyalty levels and doubled channel revenue for her employers. She also worked in sales in the UK for 3 years in the late 1980’s. In the 90’s, Janeen consulted in the area of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications for direct marketing, sales force automation and customer service.


Facilitation of workshops throughout Asia-Pac

Since 1999, Janeen has facilitated workshops throughout Asia-Pacific, specialising in channels management, for clients such as Cisco, HP, Microsoft and Honeywell in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India.

Personal development and awareness are key areas that drive Janeen’s own energy and spirit. She places a strong emphasis on open and honest communication, integrity in all relationships and maintaining a balanced life - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This is part of her core value system and constitutes a significant influence in her mentoring and coaching practices.

A pragmatic approach combined with fun

Using a practical rather than theoretical approach, her clients regard her highly interactive facilitation style as a major strength. Her workshops are active and functional with the objective of producing realistic, workable plans to grow the business whilst also having some fun. Janeen’s ability to communicate on all levels and her practical knowledge of sales and marketing are key to her success.

Qualifications

Janeen holds a Master of Marketing, a Graduate Diploma of Marketing, both from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Science (Comp Sci) from the University of Melbourne. She also holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. In 2005 Janeen attained a Certificate in Embodied Relational Dynamics from the Australian Institute of Somatic Psychotherapy. Janeen is past President of the Monash Marketing Alumni Association (MMAA) and was on the committee for 5 years. She is still a member of the Monash Alumni Association.
